Financial Analyst – fixed-term contract: 2 years

Role: Provide various management reports, preparing financial reports according to IFRS standards, involved in budgeting and planning.
Responsibilities:
Business analysis:
- Provide analysis related with sales evolution and explain the variances compared with previous year and company objectives;
- Analyze the newly clients gained and the impact of lost clients (by segments);
- Analyze the revenues evolution by type and follow the impact of different business decision in the company results;
- Analyze and provide to Head of departments the evolution of the costs generated by each function and the variances compared with budget, forecast and previous period;
- Support departments in creating business cases for different projects;
- Follow-up of the new services implemented and analysis their profitability versus expectations.
Reporting:
- Actively participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual Financial Statements prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards and provide qualitative comments on the variations compared with previous year and company objectives;
- Control the accuracy of accounting and treasury and reporting entries using financial indicators from accounting system and operational system;
- Master important and complex files used for reporting.
Planning:
- Participate and offer support in budget process: analysis of main financial indicators, provide detailed information to all internal clients for a better understanding of future trends;
- Analyze the impact of new actions planned in the company Strategic plan.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Economics (Accounting / Finance);
- +3 years’ experience in financial analysis/controlling/accounting;
- Knowledge and ability to use the International Financial Reporting Standards and Romanian Accounting Standards;
- Ability to understand and translate the Financial Statements of the company (Balance Sheets, Statements of Income, Statements of Cash Flow) into relevant business information in order to take the appropriate decisions;
- Knowledge of Budgeting and Forecasting;
- Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI);
- Good communication skills, able to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of an organization;
- Fluent in English.
